The Technology

SimPorts USA not only gives you the opportunity to experience the challenge of aviation, but also gives you the experience of flying different real world aircraft. SimPorts USA utilizes the amazing motion simulators built by Flight Deck Systems Inc., of Eagle, Idaho. The FDS simulators offer the virtual pilot the experience of flying a Boeing 777, 767, 757, a Beechcraft King Air or Baron, a Pilatus PC-12, a Cessna Citation X, 208 float plane, 206, 182 RG or 172. Carrier Ops are handled by the Hawkeye twin turbo prop or by the Viking S3 twin jet engine sub hunter. Each of these simulators is designed specifically for the type of aircraft. At flight time, the simulator is configured with the specific aircraft selected. The simulators have all the instruments including a fully functioning flight management computer in the Boeing heavies. All the simulators have autopilots CDU’s and full radio navigation capabilities as well as moving map GPS systems. This is the real thing! In fact, the simulators can be scheduled to accumulate real time hours for private, instrument or commercial flight licenses.

Learning to Fly

If you’ve never been in an airplane before, there’s a good chance SimPort USA will have you up and flying in just a few minutes. Our skilled flight trainers will explain the basic principles of flight and let you experience it first hand on the practice simulators before you attempt to fly the full motion simulators. Once you feel comfortable with the basics, we can adjust the simulator realism to help you get off the ground, making your experience one you’ll never forget. For those with little experience we can bring the simulator realism up to a very challenging level.

Fly Into A Virtual World

When you fly into a virtual world you will experience a most amazing environment. First you will learn to communicate with the real air traffic control personnel, file a flight plan ask for clearance and taxi instructions. In this virtual world the other aircraft flying in and out of your home airport will be the other simulators in your group or visiting Simmers from other SimPorts USA locations.

Fun With Flight

See the world, SimPorts USA has developed sophisticated software that will allow you to jump into warp drive - take off from your home airport Boise, Gowen Field, fly out 5 minutes and enter the Grand Canyon for site seeing or land in London then take off and return to Boise all in less than 30 minutes. Or take your time and use all the navigation instruments to fly cross country in real time with real weather! Talk about seeing the world! See the sites of the world without leaving your home town.

Back Country Flying

In the Eagle SimPort, special emphasis will be placed on the exciting challenge of back country flying. Land at some of the most amazing airports in Idaho. With every airport in the world in our database.

Carrier Ops
Qualify for carrier ops and you will have the distinct honor of earning your Virtual Navy wings after 10 successful traps. Take it to the limit-test your abilities with night Ops and bad weather!

How It Works

Eagle SimPort flying club is just like any real flying club. You fill out an application and become a member. As a member you will have access to the aircraft whenever you wish to schedule a flight. Hourly rates are low and you will receive a discount on flight instruction.

Becoming a Founding Member will give you an equity share in the simulators and computer hardware, a share in the profits and give you the option to sell your share to another pilot. A general member get access to the SIMS.

Family memberships are available. Get your kids involved in a worth while endeavor that will help shape their future.
